This week Toronto Police report 10 crimes in the 31 Division area including a shooting near Falstaff Ave & Jane St on April 29, 2007.  The non-lethal shooting happened on a bright Sunday morning.  When police arrived to the scene they found a 23 year old man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.  There are no available suspect descriptions and police are urging the public to call crime stoppers at (416)-222-8477 if any information pertinent to the crime is known.  Police were also called to 2764 Jane Street, near Jane & Sheppard, after the victim was attacked and threaten in the parking lot of a Jane St high rise. 

 31 Division police are inviting the public to a monthly meeting on Monday May 5, 2007.  The meeting will begin at 7pm.
